Monika L. Woodard is an associate attorney with the Firm and represents clients in a broad array of civil litigation in state and federal courts. Prior to joining the Firm, Monika was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Peter T. Fay of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and a judicial intern for the Honorable James Lawrence King of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Monika received her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, where she was Articles Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review, Managing Editor of the St. Thomas Journal of Complex Litigation, and a member of the law school’s Moot Court Board. During law school, Monika received the 2013 Scribes Award (for the best student-written article in a law review or journal) and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Advocacy Practice (awarded to the student showing the most promise in trial advocacy). Additionally, she was a member of the Honorable Peter T. Fay American Inn of Court, the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, and The Florida Bar Law Student Division’s Board of Governors.
Monika is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts.
